Spending log, day 13
I had originally planned to present my shiny new budget today… but then I found an excuse to go to my favorite frenemy, Tarzhey. That excuse was the unexpectedly early return of my housemate, which translates into the week’s provisions lasting until maybe late tomorrow rather than through Friday night. Granted, the two (!) boxes of wine I picked up were completely unnecessary, but part of my budgeting process is leveraging good sales to stock up and reduce overall costs – thinking in the long term like the proverbial rich person. Outside of the $32 of wine (still, $4 per bottle with a far longer shelf life once opened, not bad), I only spent around $17 to stock up on some basics, bringing today’s total to $49.33.
